Android auto with Hyundai

I have a Santa Fe Sport 2017. With my previous phone, an HTC, I had no problem connecting and using AA. Since getting the PH-1 I haven't been able to get the phone recognized. I've used 3 differnt connecting cables. One wasn't USB 3.0 data compatible but the other 2 are. I see when connecting the cable and phone it begin charging. However, when going to Settings>Connected Devices, USB shows as not connected.

Using the two latest cable and a USB 2.0 hub, I can connect to my computer and change the USB connection to transfer data.

Does anyone have connection with their Hyundai and PH-1? What cable are you using or what little trick am I missing.

No luck on my end. I don't know if there is an update needed by Hyundai or my phone is causing the problem.
