Upgraded my Samsung flip 5 to Flip 6.
Same car (volvo xc40), same cable.
Android Auto won't start.
Cleared cache, cleared data, reset car head unit, start Android automatically set to Always. Unpaired and reset again.

Tried all the suggestions found on the web.
what can be the solution?

so frustrating:-(

I also upgraded from the Flip 5 to 6. I have wireless AA (I am in the US). What I did was unpair my Flip 5 from the car (I didn't do anything to AA), then paired my Flip 6 to the car. Since I transferred everything from my Flip 5 to 6 via Samsung's Smart Switch, I then didn't have to do anything with AA as my settings carried over. I should point out that I don't actually use AA, but it is activated and works in case I decide to in the future.

I had the last updated one from google play.
Now tried the newest wich is 12.4.642824
Same no results
Yeah I'm on that version Fold 6 , my s24u is on this no issues but haven't tried my Fold 6

Don't forget we haven't had it's first OS update yet or Google Play system which is on April 2024 if you go to settings>about phone>software information and tap Google play system update there's no update available yet while other devices are on July/August

Probably when these get updated things will start working again my thinking

i tried also before updating on the same phone- it didn;t work.

i hoped maybe the newest version will do the trick...but it didn't.

No I meant OS security update to August and Google's play system which both are behind because newer devices

OK- thanks. hope you are correct.

will wait.
Ok it shouldn't be too long but remember once the OS updates go into About phone settings and try updating the Google Play system afterwards as it doesn't automatically update

I know this doesn't help you. But all I had to do after getting my Flip 6 was to unpair the Flip 5 on my car screen and then pair the new phone.

I had a lot of problems in the beginning but seems to be working ok now. I still think the reception is not as good as the Flip 3 though.
