Android Beam with Blackberry

So my brother has a Bold 9930 which uses NFCas well. This weekend I was on a webpage on my Gnex and was curious to see what would happen if we held up our phones together. Well my Gnex actually buzzed and the "touch to beam" option came up. When pressed it nothing obviously happened, but it got me thinking. Is there an application for Blackberry that would allow Android Beam to work?

Not any that I know of yet. But since the android beam code was opened sourced by Google, I'm sure someone could make an app that can use android beam with blackberries.
