Android Beam

I can't get android Beam to work on the nexus 6P ....anyone having an issue? I've checked all the appropriate settings but it doesn't seem to work.

I also noticed it won't work when attempting with Nexus 5.

I've had issues with Android beam between my Nexus 7 2013 WiFi and my Droid Turbo. Both are on LP, so I don't think it has to do with MM. However, I remember it working fine in the last, but I hadn't used it in awhile so maybe it worked fine in KK but not in LP. What mine does is sounds the tone that they're ready to beam, but the transfer always fails. I've tried rebooting both units, shutting off and turning on beam and retrying it, but nothing seems to help.
