Hi,
I have a Samsung Galaxy A5 and need to sync Calendar & Contacts with Microsoft Outlook on my PC.
This used to be possible with Samsung Kies but Samsung have ended the product and introduced Smart Switch which lacks this functionality.
What do you suggest?
Smart Switch is designed to backup and restore phone data between different Samsung phones. It does not sync phone to Outlook on PC.
I believe this could be accomplished using gmail, but I want phone to PC, without google.
Thank you

UPDATE LATER
I went ahead and installed Samsung Smart Switch and found it has this basic functionality that I wanted (sync Contacts/ Calendar to Outlook). And it also provides backup facility.
I'm annoyed. I looked for a solution ages ago. Smart Switch did not appear to offer this functionality. I searched google and forums and found no good solution. Today I spoke with Samsung and the guy said 'yes, we know that feature should be there and we hope to add it in the future'. It's already there! And nobody seems to know about it.
Anyway it's good news that there is a good solution. If you've been searching for similar, hopefully this will resolve for you.
Thanks
