Android Central app eating my battery today

Hello everyone. The attached screen shot shows the Android Central app eating my battery. I've never had this happen before, and I'm wondering if anyone else had this issue today. I expected to see SiriusXM Radio up there and the screen lower because I listened to Octane while at work most of the day, but I only opened AC once before I got home from work.

And left it running all day even though you had another app in the foreground?

I've never had that happen with the Android Central app and I use it at least once or twice a day. I've had a couple of misbehaving news apps do that in the past, but never Android Central. I'm still on KitKat, though, and maybe the app hasn't been optimized yet for Lollipop?
