Android Central App: Open beta testing

Ok when I tried to open it from 'recent downloads' it would give me an error. But when I went to 'my files' the stock file explorer on the Galaxy Note 2 (4.1.2 AT&T) it opened and installed no problem. Writing this from it now. First impression: impressed. :P

Also in the forums, I rather liked the feature where threads with unread replies are in bold. Whereas in the new app, all threads are titled in bold.

Looking good, guys. I love the design.

I'm not seeing the text editing (what I'm doing right now) auto-capitalizing after a new sentence is started. Here's a silly looking test: jebciwn. bsisncjw. hello. these. words. are. not. capitalizing. the. first. letter. after. a. period.

Tested on other apps, confirmed it's not my phone. Droid RAZR Maxx, 4.1.2.

installs fine on my N4 running JB 4.2.2.

bugs/missing features

-refresh button on latest post tab of forum section would be nice
-while in the forum section scrolling to the right there are the pages "by category", "by name" & "latest posts" and then 3 more unlabeled pages. Seems like the tabs should also scroll over to label the last three pages.

very nice app.

**edit*** I closed and reopened the app and the issue seems to have resolved itself. All the forum pages are now labeled.

The ability to edit a previously posted comment would be nice.

Secondary link worked for me. First was a no go on Nexus 4 using stock firmware and chrome stable.

Would be nice to be able to adjust the tabs on the Home screen

So far so good with my Nexus 4.

Must say the app looks very well done, and navigation is pretty straight forward.

Only issue I've run across so far was that it took a few tries to login to my account from the app.

Other than that, I have yet to find any crippling bug in my limited use with it.

Will report back if something pops up.

Great job so far team!

FINALLY! I'm too elated to have an AC app for my phone. I'm gonna beta this to death.

So far, so good here. Upon initial startup and loading new 'tabs' it kind of flashes/pulses a bit, but other than that its as smooth as butter so far.

Sent from my rooted Alltel Galaxy S2.

I noticed this as well.

Also, this app likes the juice.

Installed with no problems on my GS3. No problems yet, seems very smooth. Looks down right gorgeous. Running 4.1.2 on the MD4 release (Sprint).

Great looking app.

My first recommendation is to smooth out the transition when going into a news article from the main news listing. It fades....then....BAM! Page. When you back out it's quite a smooth fade out/in.

Minor I know, but just doesn't feel quite right.

Installed and working great so far. Nexus 4 running stock 4.2.2.
