What happened to the comments section on the feature articles? I learned just as much from the comments as I did from the feature.

Comments have been removed for now, but there's a big chance that they'll be back in the near future.

I have been scouring the internet for an answer to this. I just read Jerry's article regarding the galaxy watch 4 and thought his analysis was quite good. What wasn't so good is that there is nowhere to leave a comment or any reader interaction lol. So I hope that you are correct and this function makes a speedy return.

What does a "big chance" they return mean? Are they working on it or putting it to rest?
From what I'm understanding is they working on getting comment section back but the Android Central app is done .

One month on and no sign of comments returning yet - quite a shame as they were often useful plus an easy way to flag up any issues, etc.

This change to the main page, and discontinuing the app, came out of nowhere with no warning. If comments come back, it will likely be without notice also. I'm guessing the mods, ambassadors, et al, know little more than the rest of us. They were in the dark like the rest of us, when the new look rolled out.

Yeah, they don't tell us anything. Even our Community Manager, who works more directly with the higher-ups, wasn't aware of a lot of these changes until the very last minute.:-\

Well, I can say that since the changes occurred I visit this site much less which is too bad but I guess clicks will determine the final outcome, mine are definitely much less.

Here's a perfect example why I don't visit AC as much anymore. Clicked on an article for the first time in weeks, the piece on YouTube Music, interesting article since I have it but was wanted to read comments from others that could provide counterpoint or additional benefits or drawbacks, one piece is not the final word but a launching point for some interesting discussion. Do the AC people even read these comments or are they just up for the heck of it?

You can make a thread about the topic in the forums and link the article , that way you can have conversation about it as alternative?
