Android Central redesign!

I'm with the others who have mentioned wasted space, though I must say that overall I do like the redesign. Also a fan of the new ranks over the old titles - pro, specialist, etc. were kinda misleading, being based on post count and all.

The site on a PC is nice. However, Android Central on my android device has always taken the longest to load and is resource intensive. When you're scrolling through, there is always a little bit of loading going on even after it's fully loaded. When are you guys gonna get a mobile site for the phones?

The comments look TOO BUSY with all the grey boxes that hold the member's name and the date. I like the background of the actual comment itself - just don't like the grey boxes above each comment.

Aside from that, this looks like Crackberry.com - just blue. Nice.

Not a bug, but IMHO there is a ton of wasted space in the forums now. Fonts are too big and a lot of empty space (line and cell spacing?). There's a lot of scrolling going on now.

How about moving the Activity Bar to the left, either under user name or after all the stats there?

Adding location back makes the right hand side look too long and now unbalanced.

looks like double spacing ... maybe make it single spaced?

The forum posts look like they are floating on a white background with no borders or good separation between posts. Don't care for it at all.

I am very fond of the redesign. It really is a great job. The contrast of the article title borders makes it look more professional. The only aspect I dont like is the placement of the post ratings. The stars are off to the right making it hard to see on mobile devices. If it was to be changed back to the left side of the replies it would be great.

It looks amazing but guys IT'S THE SLOWEST WEBSITE IN THE WORLD AND IMPOSSIBLE ON ANDROID DEVICES!!! Why? Nexus One and Nexus S over WiFi takes a painfully long time to load and does not scroll down smoothly for a while. Same thing on the PC - it does not scroll smoothly on a fast machine over fast connection for a few seconds. The new version is WORSE than the horribly slow older version.

Optimize! PLEASE!!!!! I want to view on Android devices!!!! Who uses the PC?

i love the new layout. but one big thing i feel that your missing, is the share button for FB and others. theres only a FB like button, which, doesnt do the same as to share the page/story... this is something that i use a lot from this site... to all the iPhone fan boys to hate on. would u please put it back? or am i missing this? cuz ive looked for it.. cannot find it!

Facebook replaced "Share" with "Like." When you like you also share.
