Android Central slows my browser speed tp a crawl

When I have any windows open for Android Central website (this site) my browser slows to a crawl. - Everything, even typing is slow. I hear my hard drive just whirring away. I really don't think it has to do with any Firefoc (or Microsoft Edge browser). Even happen when I disable all plug-ins or start the browser in safe mode.

Then, soon as I close any AC tabs - BAMM!, hard drive stops whirring and it speeds up.

Is there something happening that maybe is requiring extra resources?

I know we're run into this issue before with users. Can I get specifics on the browser/os you're using? Have you tried other browsers as well?

I tired running Android Central with it white listed to support you guys, but I gave up and turned by ad blocker back on.
