My DroidX got caught in a weird boot-up loop yesterday and the guy at the VZW store couldn't even get it back to factory fresh. They were out of stock of the X, so he offered me the D2. I passed because, for me, the X's massive screensize is the killer app. So, I have a crappy blackberry loaner until my new X shows up on Wednesday.

My first reaction was to be bummed because of all the reconfig I'll have to do. But, I also feel like a get a bit of a do-over and can do a few things better than before. And that's where this post comes in.

Here's a few thoughts on what I have planned...

- make sure my AppBrain "on the phone" list is copied so I can easily reinstall everything.
- settle on one task manager (I'm thinking Advanced Task Cleaner)
- clean up my Google contacts and pay closer attention to configuring which ones sync!

If you had an Android Do-over, what would you do differently?

Thanks
