Hi, new here to Android,
I have lately been getting into different languages, currently web design and will be trying out Javascript, so I have had experience in various languages such as C++ so I do pick up languages fairly quickly, however I have no experience with Java.
So, what do I need to know to begin developing? As a list preferably so I can get myself a check list. I have the Eclipse IDE set up with Android SDK.
I am a university student so it will take months, so there won't be any app soon. This is a personal project inspired by a hobby of mine, so I have an idea what I am looking for. I want to create a simple-ish 2D app which will be written efficiently for my Xperia (800Mhz CPU, slow device) which if it actually becomes successful I will want to raise a small amount of money from it. I am not expecting to compete just a little something for my hard work (if it gets to that stage that is!)
