Android/Google update fail

I have a Verizon S7 (and a Note 5 that has the same issue) and when I go to wipe the Partition Cache, the first thing that happens is there is some update that tried to be installed but fails. I have inserted pictures of what happens below. I have tried a full Reset back to factory on both and this does not alleviate the problem. Does anyone have any idea what the issue is and how to resolve it?





Any help would be appreciated.

OK- can you perchance elaborate on this? Meaning that there is no update and this is an Android OS glitch? That there is a problem with an update package that causes this and no one has fixed it and no matter what this is what will happen?

I am being dense and not understanding even though your answer is definitive. I just would like a bit more explanation of why it is normal and really what it means.
