I will try to get to the point right away. Has anyone found a good pair of in ear ear buds with microphone that are good for running using an android phone? I don't need to answer calls during a run but I have found standard ear buds just DO NOT WORK with android phones properly. I run six miles on average every morning and I do it mostly on my nice cushy flexible treadmill (I'm 45 with a bad back) where I can use my Kindle Fire to watch movies and listen to Google music while I run. Needless to say I have gone through quite a few ear buds trying to find ones that will #1 work and #2 last more than a month. I have found from trial and error that when I use ear buds that do not have a microphone they cause my phone/phones to go wonky. This has happened with an Evo 4g, Evo 3D, Samsung Galaxy S II and my current phone a Nexus S 4g. When I use just plain standard ear buds with my Kindle fire everything works just fine but when I use them on a phone its a no go. So I broke my treadmill deck after a faithful seven years of service and I am in the middle of replacing the parts so I am forced back outside on the unforgiving asphalt until I get the treadmill back up and running. I currently have been using to my extreme satisfaction a pair of yurbuds with my Kindle with no issues but I have found as in the past that they make my phone go wonky, causing app crashes and phone issues. I use a application called SportyPal Pro to log my runs outside while listening to music and I am hoping there is at least one android runner out there that knows what I am talking about and has found a suitable solution. Price is not an issue (within reason) comfortable ear buds that will not cause the phone to spaz out and reset my application causing me to lose my running data is. Any help would be greatly appreciated!
