"Android is starting... Optimizing app 84 of 121."
Hello! I have a Nexus 5 and this morning, after having left it charging overnight and tried using it, I discovered that it wouldn't turn on so I thought it was because I hadn't plugged the charger properly the night before. I plugged in the phone and the phone started charging but once I tried turning it on, the following message appeared on the screen "Android is starting... Optimizing app 84 of 121." and, after a while and without the optimizing ever succesfully finishing, my phone turns off. I have repeated this process over 7 times now and I honestly have no idea what I did or what I could do to fix this problem. Also, the numbers on the screen vary every time it turns off and I turn it on.
PS: I haven't really updated or anything but I did have the notification that an upgrade (5.0.1 I think) was available but every time I tried installing it, I got an error message and had to long-press power to turn it back on but that's another issue on its own.
