Android is Updating every reboot

I have the Sprint variant and when I first turned on the phone it had an Android update waiting. That update went through the process where it sequentially updates every app and counts up the numbers as it does so. Now, every time I restart the phone I get a pop up that says Android is updating. It does not do the numeric counting of apps but rather very quickly just starts the phone but I was wondering if anyone else is experiencing this and why I would get that message every time I restart.

Mine is doing the same thing. I have the unlocked version with an AT&T sim

That's what lollipop does with apps every reboot... Not your phone, no problem

I figured it might of been an Android thing, because it says Android is optimizing apps or something like that.

My phone started doing that on the M* when I got Lollipop and my M9 does it too.
