Android lifer... went to iPhone 7+ for a year - back to the Pixel 2 XL!!!

Hey All,

I have been with Android since inception, and have owned dozens and dozens of Android devices.

After a year with my Nexus 6p, I decided to give the iPhone 7+ 256GB a try since it was the first iPhone (in my opinion) worth owning.

The iPhone was beautifuly built, and worked like a dream. However, I have decided to come back to Android for the customization options (obviously).

I’ll be coming back into the game with a 128 GB Pixel 2 XL.

I can’t wait!!!!!!

Welcome back to the fun. Sounds like you enjoyed the iPhone too. Without starting a war here, anything jump out as you on the iPhone that is markedly better than on Android? I am curious because I have never used an iPhone, though I love my iPad.

Wouldnt the ipad be the same as iPhone just without the call feature? Runs same os. Like a android tablet and phone.. any who.. i have never owned any icrap..lol

No. Not for me. iOS is fine on a big 12 inch tablet that I use mostly to consume media, etc. And iPad apps are generally great . I don't enjoy iOS on a phone (I do have an iPod Touch, and the notifications alone are awful) . Didn't want a phone war thing here though. I was just wondering if there was something he found better since he has used it fully for a while now.
