Android M (Nexus 6p) Issues in Multiple Devices

[AC Question]

Loving the Nexus 6p so far but I've had the same issues in my first unit as well as the RMA I just received.

Hardware: The chassis creaks and pops a little. If you grip the phone from the sides or front and back, you can hear the chassis creaking.

Software: Peeking isn't working for Gmail despite it being on within the app notification settings as well as "Notify me for every message" switched on within Gmail Settings. The other issue is that some apps like Google News & Weather, when you double click notifications on the lock screen it was give the "News & Weather has stopped working" error despite that after you dismiss that notification, it opens the app normally.

Again, experienced these issues on both phones, anyone have a similar experience with the 6p and/or marshmallow?

First... I'm not getting any creaking or anything similar. My unit feels like a solid lump of metal actually.

As for the software issues, that's another mystery. I use N&W, so I'll turn on notifications and come back if I see anything wonky.

There is an issue with gmail. Google is apparently working on a fix.
