JANUARY 2026 update. EoL for the S21 series?

Samsung have begun rolling out their January 2026 update. As the S21 series celebrated its 5th birthday a few days ago, (29 Jan 2021), and the S21 series has reached its official EoL, (End of Life), this looks to be the last update, security or otherwise, for these devices.

On a personal note, my S21 Ultra, (G998B), has performed flawlessly for the last 5 years and has been one of the most reliable phones I have ever owned.

This really makes me sad I still prefer my S21 Ultra over any device honestly.

I am going to be keeping mine around regardless. I have an S23 Ultra, but find myself using the S21U quite a bit more in some scenarios.

Weird! Just had the update on my S21 Ultra, G988B, and I cannot see what the update is for as the security patch remains at 1 January 2026.

Yeah... This is bizarre. I'm guessing there must be an issue somewhere.
My device was already on the January 1st security patch.

Now I got another security update. I was hoping it would be for Feb or March lol
