When i do a search in the market app on the phone for "MLB.com at Bat 2011" it returns no results. If i search for it on the android market website i can find it but it would let me download it. I go to select device and "Verizon HTC ADR6400L" is listed with a note "this item is not compatible with your device" but in the app description HTC Thunderbolt is a compatible device. How do i make the market see my phone as the Thunderbolt and not the model number?

Only thing I can think of is to clear cache and data in the market app.
menu>settings>applications>manage applications>all>market

On a side note, Amazon sees the Thunderbolt as ADR6400L....etc.

Thanks, I tried that. I even uninstalled the update and let the market update itself but its still not working. I'm not concerned as much about the MLB app as i am about my phone not being recognized properly. I want to have the option to install apps that are designed to run on the thunderbolt

I mean i know that's the model number....maybe its just this particular app. It just makes me mad the one of the phones listed that it works on is HTC Thunderbolt

Just curious, but you want apps that are designed to run on 4G LTE? I mean, Angry Bird RIO will work the same way on the TB as it would on the LG Ally.

I think the bigger question is whether anyone sees their device as something other than "ADR6400L" in the Market? Maybe the app vendor needs to do the fixing, not us.

Not necessarily just 4G LTE apps. This particular app is supposed to let you steam live video of all MLB baseball games but only works on certain phones. Thunderbolt is listed as one of them. Oh well, i guess Major League Baseball isn't getting my $15 now

Remember it lets you stream them if you have an MLB TV account as well....

My TBolt has never shown up as anything other than "Verizon HTC ADR6400L" and every app I've sent from the web has arrived and installed on my phone without incident.

Same here. Definately a vendor problem with this app.
