Is anyone else having a problem downloading apps on the market? For some reason I am unable to update or download any new apps since i upgraded to comm rom 1.3...is anyone else having this issue? When i try to download it gives me an error message saying download cannot be completed. This is on both 3g and wifi.

Try going into settings>applications>manage Applications>All>market, and then clear data. The restart market and see if this helps. Sometimes it does.

I tried reprogramming using *228 and also cleared data in the market...same result it says the download could not be completed

Sounds to me like you need to take your phone back to stock and start over. Something went weird with your ComRom install, and I don't think reflashing it will work for you. I would recommend downloading 1.3 again and deleting the current file you have before you try it again. It's annoying that you may have to do all that, but it's better than having a nonfunctional market.

Been gone a while and this is my issue as well. I was running a debloated version of EB01 for months and months, and had no issues whatsoever. I opted to come and modify the phone because I had a little bit of down time while working on projects at work. I loaded the debloated ED01, no wipe, and with only a couple of hiccups, I was good for a couple of days before I opted for the community rom, 1.3.

That said, and after loading the full wipe version (clearing out both cache and part before loading the new rom), I was seemingly unable to download from the marketplace. I could connect, and would network failure to connect type messages. The issue was that when I clicked okay to accept the permissions, it stopped right there. I never got any FC's on the market app. When I went into settings to clear Market cache, it would never clear. I did this many times. Then I opted to do the full roll back.

I rolled back to DI09, let it complete writing and set up my google account for the marketplace, and then powered off and loaded debloated ED01 and that didn't fix the issue. I did the same process again and tried the com rom, and nothing. I am always performing the load of the wipe versions, and the marketplace has issues. Unil... one time it didn't.

I was able to ge Titanium to dl, and my key, and started the process for restoring, and wouldn't you know... Titanium keeps freezing within a few percent. I back out and terminate the process, and when I start it up again, whether I've rebooted or not, it always freezes. Oddly enough, there are times when I can't get Titanium to work because it FC's as soon as I boot my phone. Even more odd, when I perform a load with Odin and use the Wipe version of the rom, Titanium comes back and FC's.

I wouldn't expect Titanium to have issues like this, nor anything else. I've been pretty successful in helping folks out for some months before I had to leave with their Odin needs and various roms, and the who's and what's, but now that I come back, I seem to have created a mess where even though I can use my phone as a phone, and sms is working, I can't get it back to a workable "model" of either the com rom, or debloated ED01.

Reason why I'm posting here is because I have the same issue as the OP, and have used all of my tools and cannot recover. I'm open to anyone who has an idea. And as much as I hate to double post, I'm going to post this in Landshark's thread about ED01 as well.

[EDIT] - Eventually rolled back to DI09, then to ED01, was able to download Titanium from the market place, but had to install the system files before attempting to install applications. Some apps wouldn't install after trying to install the community rom. And after 50 reboots and individually installing and downloading some of my apps, all seems to be working. I did nothing special except that every time Titanium froze, I had to reboot. When it froze, I documented the app it was stuck on and did not install it. The apps it got stuck with were related to installing the app and the data. If I installed it without the data, it installed without issue.

I almost hate to say this, but I also had alot of problems with Market on customs roms. Due to my GPS dying I have to exchange my phone, so I put it back to stock and got the OTA Froyo update. What's wierd? Market works perfectly. I mean flawlessly. Dunno why its fubared on every custom ROM but I'm afraid it simply is.
