It will have the hardware to run it but by the time N is released, the G4 will be about 17 months old. And by the time the carriers get around to pushing the update, the G4 would be about 20 months old. I wouldn't hold my breath.

I thought the same until the G3 got marshmallow, so I think there may be a remote possibility that we do.
