Android OS consuming BG data

Hi, I have the dual SIM Exynos S7 (though I dont use the second slot for a SIM card), and I've noticed that Android OS is using up tons of my background data. Google Photos and all is set to sync on WiFi only, so I dont see what could possibly be causing this. Battery is already pretty great at the moment, with 1% every 35-45 mins on data, so killing this background consumption could help boost that to less than a percent per hour, or equal to WiFi standby. Thanks!
