What should be the expected keep awake time from Android OS under the battery settings while the phone is at rest?

Example: I have 2 hours 33 min with battery time of 8 hours 45 mins.

It should be pretty close to your screen on time unless you were doing some big uploads or downloads

It is always more than my screen on time. For my example above my screen on is 1 hour 15 mins.

This is in other threads. Try letting the screen time out, rather than hitting the power button. This has improved my battery life a lot.

Search "Keep Awake" bug.

I get good battery life...my OS keep awake time is usually 3x the CPU total. I have been force closing the camera which seems to lower it some.
This is my 2nd nexus..first was the same.

I notice that the phone automaticly looks for system update every 30 to 60 min. Could that be some of the awake time issues.
