Android Parental Control and Monitoring-lockdown app that actually works?

Having tried many parental control apps to date, i've yet to find one that does what it should or even works.

Take safe lagoon for instance.. seems great on paper, should be able to block apps, limit time use on the phone in general, but in practice it does not work. It works at first then the app no longer works (paid version). This on multiple devices that we have tried.. ie: acer tablets and honor 6x phones.

Also tried google family link, but that one you couldnt limit the time for games etc.. and it seemed to track time when the phone was idle (overnight) and if the limit was hit you couldnt text. You also couldnt have multiple google accounts signed into the phone at the same time.

Goals were simple, track app usage, track texts and chats, limit the time per day overall but dont block basic functions like texting and calling.

Is there an app out there i might have missed in this search?

Yep, they've not been able to get it to work consistently.

Then, at the very least, I'd ask for my money back. But I can't suggest any others, I don't know of any. Sorry.
