Android Pay Compatibility

Anyone know if Verizon Moto X 2nd generation is compatible with Android Pay?
Also, do you think this phone to be good, as in not too complicated, for first time Smart Phone user.

Yes, the 2014 Moto X has an NFC chip, and is therefore compatible with Android Pay. That phone should be an excellent first phone, even today. Motorola didn't modify the base Android UI that much, so you're not bombarded by dozens of features that you probably will never use.
