Android Phone still in home country mode (no Roaming)

Hey!

I'm from Germany and I'm in the States since a month now. Great! Though I'm struggling with some Android Problems because of this scenario. I can't download American Apps from the Play store... I'm just able to download German Play Store Apps. On the other hand I can't watch Amazon or Netflix in US mode nor in German Mode (Just Netflix Originals for example). If I want to watch German series they say I'm not in the country and therefore I'm not allowed to watch. When I try to watch American movies and series the se message. So I have just disadvantages with this situation and I don't know where the problem is. I even got a Verizon Sim Card.

Anyone knows what could help?

Try checking to see if roaming is enabled in the settings and that the GPS is on. You might also want to look at the device's location in settings and make sure you update it to the US.
