Android Pie & trusted places

Since the update my trusted place is not recognized or working as it should. I even re-did the setup and still no smart lock trusted places... Anyone else?

You're correct. It's set, but lock is still lock, it doesn't stay unlocked if it's where it's set to be a trusted place.

(Google said there was some flaky operation with Smart Lock and they were going to fix it before release. Maybe the fix will be in an update.)

Once trusted places is reset after the 4 hr time of phone in use, the trusted places only works if you leave and come back. There is something in the programming with the 4 hrs of In use in the same location. I found this out quite by accident. I didn't leave my apartment until late in the day and it finally reset itself. I started trying different situations and found it works every time I leave and come back.
