Is the note 9 expected to get the official version of Pie? I thought we were supposed to have it already.

No it's in beta stage for s9 and looks like beta coming to note 9 but official release is January/February

OK so ive been on the version that was released on the 21st for a couple days now. I'm having some notification issues. but not with main apps. mostly Facebook and other messaging apps. and I'm not digging the new email set up. but other then that it's been pretty good. I'm not experiencing freezing.

Can't you just set your phone to only check for updates manually... and then never check?

Of course that would mean forgoing security updates as well.

I don't thinks that's enough to hold it off forever, but I did that anyways.
