android platform?

i reacently found out that there was an android 3.0, 3.1, 3.2 platform. dose any one know if there are roms for optimus v that have these platforms on them

3.0 is for tablets ONLY.

2.3 and its updates are available for the Optimus V check the IHO thread there is many build with varying tweaks.

where can i find the IHO threads at... i know 2.3.4 is on gingerbread "3.0 is tablet" is 3.1 3.2 tablet as well..

Any variation of 3.0 is for tablets.
2.3 is Gigngerbread, 2.3.4 and beyond is just updated versions of 2.3.

I believe all 3.x are honeycomb & for tablets only. The next major release is Ice Cream Sandwich, which will likely be 4.x

2.3 IS gingerbread. they are one and the same.

gingerbread IS 2.3 anything like 2.3.4 or 2.3.5 are just small updates to gingerbread.

gingerbread is the newest version of the Android OS for phones. its way better than froyo 2.2 (or they would not have released it to replace froyo)

3.0 is for tablets only. never made for phones, we have to wait till 4.0 is released to get a phone version but that wont be for a long while.

4.0 dev pack were alrdy released like amonth ago so I would have to say a x-mas device with 4.0 isnt hard to believe
