I'd like to be able to save photos and apps. And reinstall photos and apps on my next smart phone.

I'm a happily addicted power used but don't have a lot of technical skills but can do simple troubleshooting.

I'm going to make another post re a replacement as I'm in a remote area and the only android repair guy said Pixels are unreliable once fixed, said he'd order the battery and ghosted me.

I'm about 4 hours from Carson City/Reno area.

Thanks so much

My Google Pixel 6 has the blinking logo and since I'm in a remote mountain town and the only Android repair guy ghosted me after telling me Google Pixels are not that reliable after replacing the battery, he said he'd call me when it arrived but that was over a month ago. I called and messaged him twice.

Now, I have the blinking logo, it only worked when plugged in.

I'd really like to save photos, texts and apps, if at all possible. I've lost my only child, only nephew, only brother and mom so close together. I have no one to trust. i'm about four hours from Carson City/Reno and rely on apps for everything.

My carrier is Visible and they don't finance their best Android.

Thanks for your anything you can do

If you have Wifi where you are it will be (mostly) painless, if you only have weak cell signal you'll need to get somewhere with Wifi.

Pixels automatically (by default unless changed by the user) upload photos and videos to photos.google.com

Anything not there and and documents you need can simply be uploaded to Google Drive which you can download on to your phone. There are few main locations to look in while uploading desired items

Folders;
DCIM
Documents
Downloads
Photos
Videos

Alternatively you could try plugging it into a computer and copying those folders but if your battery is completely toast the USB port on your PC is unlikely enough to even turn it on let alone running for the duration of copying.

That said, I'm assuming this "Android Repair Guy" changed your battery. Assume he used some fake garbage battery and best case a real quality battery the phone will work, mid-case it will be unreliable (that's what id consider it, who knows what that guy did), worst case and unlikely it's completely done.
Once you back everything up to Google Drive, start saving everything there until you can get the phone repaired properly.
