Hello everyone,

I need some help with battery draining issue on Lenovo A7010. The battery used to last for 2 or 3 days, but now it can hardly survive one day. In Power Consumption details is a process with name Android, which consumes 25 % to 30 % of battery. It can not be stopped nor can I access it´s details. Below is the screenshot of Power Consumption Details with basic information. I performed a Factory reset, but the problem still persist. Phone runs Android 6.0. Can anyone please advise on this? If some more information is needed, please let me know, I would try to provide as much info as I can.

Thank you.

Welcome to Android Central! Moved from the Batteries forum to the General Help forum, since the former is more of a battery hardware discussion.

It'd be interesting to see what the "Hardware" tab shows in your screenshot above, since that's using the majority of battery. Also, it'd be helpful to see some other stats. Charge up to 100%, then let it drain to 20-30% with normal usage, without charging in between. Then show us:

1. The main Settings>Battery screen.
2. The fullscreen battery graph screen (which shows Awake time and Cell Signal Strength).
3. The Screen category (to see total Screen On time).
4. The Cell Standby category, if present (to see Time Without Signal).

You might have to install a 3rd party battery monitor, like GSam Battery Monitor, to get the Cell Signal Strength graph.

Hello, thank you for your reply and for moving the thread to the right spot. Please find attached Hardware tab printscreen from same day as previously posted Software tab. I will post other statistics after weekend, I need to use my phone extensively these days, so the statistics would be distorted.

Anyway, I would like to focus on that Android process mentioned before, because now it consumes around 1 % of battery (as it was in the past and as it is on other A7010 phone I checked). Reason for this could be that I manually uninstalled all apps I was able to (including those preinstalled by phone manufacturer). I will try to install them back one at a time to see if the problem appears again. What do you thing about that, I believe that it is worth trying.

That's certainly worth a try. I also wonder a bit about the 33% WLAN usage -- that seems a bit high, and might be related to weak wi-fi signal as well. Is wi-fi usually strong where you are?

Wifi has been like this since I bought the phone. It is the same on other A7010 we have at home as well as on my work phone (which is Samsung). Actual signal strength is quite good, usually full or almost full on notification icon, wifi analyzer shows -50 dBm. The truth is that my wifi router is almost ten years old, maybe it is time to replace it.
