Android q will bring ui 2.0

That's not asking for much either

One would think not considering the software is already written and tested. The photo editor and pro video settings were present in Oreo and the contract settings that included the custom text message tones were present in Nougat. I read on one of the forums that the text tones were removed "after a vote of customers". Vote? I didn't hear anything about a vote. Did they have a vote on the other missing features also?
Sorry, this is a bit of a touchy subject with me. One of my most enjoyable features on my phone were removed. Made me want to go back to my Note 5.

I understand, there are some moves I didn't like either, hopefully we get things back or better ones down the road.

I hope they bring back the equalizer wheel where you can adjust the bass and treble, I don't understand why Samsung ditched that feature and it was useful.

Not the same update. Actually I was referring to this:

I'd be surprised if it's September with an update in late July. Carriers (at least in the US) will have to get ahold of it before it rolls out and unlocked models are always late. I'd love to be wrong, but the past suggest otherwise. Late September at the absolute earliest.

Ha ha...Samsung's own words. Of course I omitted the mile long disclaimer about when or if all users will get it, if at all, subject to change, etc. Trying to stay optimistic here.

For what it's worth, Samsung is saying a One UI update for the S10 / Android Pie will drop in September 2019.

Brace yourselves.... If it runs like the other updates, you'll probably have to communicate via Morse Code when they get done.
(As you can tell. I like One UI, I just don't like what they did with some of the Features)
