Android Sign in Error

[Android Central Question]

I inherited a galaxy note 7 ( I believe that’s the right one) from my employer and the google accounts have been removed from the previous holder. I’ve logged into all of my google accounts and removed the previous guys accounts and I still get a sign in error. I can’t reset the device because there are some apps and important documents that we can’t back up that have to stay on the tablet for legal purposes. How do I get rid of the sign in error message when the previous owner is no longer logged into the device?

Doesn't sound like the previous user is logged out of all accounts..

Welcome to Android Central! Is this really an original Note7, or a Note "Fan Edition"? The original Note7 was purposely crippled by Samsung to prevent anyone from using them and potentially blowing themselves up (since there were persistent holdouts who insisted on continuing to use the phone, despite the safety risk).
