Android Studio can't see my Samsung Galaxy A 9.7" tablet when it's connected to my PC

Just bought a new Samsung Galaxy A 9.7" tablet and connected it to my PC, but Android Studio doesn't see it as a connected device.

I've activated Developer Options, but don't know what else to do.

How do I get Android Studio to recognize it?

Got it figured out. I hadn't authorized USB debugging in Developers options. Works fine now.
