Android system at 32% draining the battery!

I've added a 128Gb SD Card with pictures on it and the phone clearly did not agree on this. What a rip-off! Why are these cards supported as the system crashes by installing the card??

Anyway, card removed but the phone still does not recover. Still draining the battery like hell. While charging I see the battery drain slowly with 1% every 5 minutes. While charging!

Now the "Android System" seems to be the reason.

How do I reset this without going to the factory reset option... Is this possible?

Coming from an iPhone this is a huge bummer and a huge disappointing first few days of use.

I don't want to return the damn thing, I just want it to work.

Anyone any suggestions?

* I've removed the card
* I've cleared the cache files by pressing the three buttons when booting
* Micro SD card is Samsung PRO branded. 94 Euros. So no cheap crap used...

Welcome to the forums. The battery stats won't reset until you fully charge the device.

In regard to the SD card, did you format it in the phone? Sometimes a PC format and Android's kinda conflict with each other.

Hello. Thanks for your reply.

I've switched off the phone to be able to charge it. Switching back on and all stays the same...

The SD card was indeed formated in the phone...

Kind regards.

Yes.

I fixed the drain for the time being by deleting the gallery cache. For some reason that sucker was crashing while the SD card was removed already...

Now I still need to find a way to put my SD card back into the slot without Android crashing on it... :/
