Android system draining battery the most

If you're not doing much of anything else, Android System or OS will often be the highest on the battery use list, because the system still has to run. And if you're not doing anything else, then it makes sense for the system to use up the most battery in proportion to everything else.

The important question here is if your battery is draining unusually fast. Charge up to 100%, then let it drain to 20-30% with normal usage, without charging in between. Then show us:

1. The main Settings>Battery screen.
2. The fullscreen battery graph screen (which shows Awake time and Cell Signal Strength).
3. The Screen category (to see total Screen On time).
4. The Cell Standby category, if present (to see Time Without Signal).

Screen, display and lighting are the main causes in draining the battery. That is why the phone charges so much faster when the screen is off. I too was having an issue with the battery, and I solved the problem by making sure that my phone is able to get the so call 'deep sleep' state whenever I turn off the screen. That way when the phone is not doing anything, it's will not waste the battery juice either. Try an app call deep sleep battery if you're not sure how to put your phone into that state.

It isn't OS, its system. The OS isn't doing much actually. And the phone shows to be waking more often.

Yes, that's why I said Android System or OS. The two are often about equal when it comes to battery consumption.
