Android system high battery usage

Screen on for 2h 24m. I usually get at least 3 ~ 4h out of full charge

What do you have running?
Does the screen ever turn off?

What's your signal strength? How often are you roaming?

I've found my battery drains heavily if constantly going between roaming / non-roaming modes

I sometimes get that but keep forgetting to remember what i was doin at the time.
What were u doin? Benchmarks or anything?

It seems to be that way on my phone also after it updated to JB. Maybe it has something to do with JB , just a guess

I pretty much never go roaming. I usually play games, watch YouTube, text, etc.

I usually close apps after I'm done with them. Screen never turns off by itself. Signal is mostly high.

Yea, I think it's jb, but it's better than ics at least.

My phone will go from like 8am to noon and have like 70% left..today while at the movies in a strong signal area I had it in my pocket and it felt hot the whole 3 hrs of the movie and i knew something was working not sure what and when I got out it went from 95% to 40% and this is what the battery said. I've been running JB for a while now but never any day has my battery became a cookie! I just restared and installed better battery stats to have something to measure what it is if it ever does it again

After rebooting the battery drain has not shown it's self
