AC Question

I have a new Nexus 5X running Android 6 (Marshmallow) and noticed today that it had downloaded a system update via my cellular network (4G). This eats up a lot of my data and wanted to allow allow the system update via WiFi (similar as I do with apps), but I do not see an option for this. Is there a setting somewhere to only allow the system updates to be downloaded when on WiFi?

Regards,
Nelson

The update was probably the November security patch. It's very small (~3MB). The OS upgrades probably won't auto download on mobile data. And I haven't seen a setting for this. The 5X is also my first Nexus, but I'm not worried about this.

The size depends which updates you had before..
For example my UK 5x just got the November update (from MDA89E to MDB08L) which was 45MB

They do download over 3G/4G though.. I used to do that all the time on the Nexus 4
