Over the past week or two, I've been noticing problems on my Pixel Slate and new Lenovo Chromebook Duet 3. Asphalt 9 was crashing right at the splash screen, the Play Store app was crashing when trying to search for apps, and there were odd typing glitches, even when trying to type feedback to Google in the system settings.
I found this thread over at the Lenovo forums: https://forums.lenovo.com/t5/Lenovo...ken-since-latest-Chrome-OS-Update/m-p/5187091. Lo and behold, after uninstalling updates to Android System Webview, Asphalt 9 worked normally! I also haven't seen any of the odd typing glitches recur either.
I'm on the Beta program for Android System Webview, so I'm not sure if that's the problem, or if it's also happening with the stable ASW. I sent Google feedback through the ASW page on the Play Store, so hopefully they'll fix this in an upcoming update for the app. I'll try to update this thread when it's resolved.
