As I sit here on the couch browsing the forums and doing stuff on my Chromecast.. This is what my stats are after taking it off the charger at work.

This is with lighter data usage for me on mobile (about 2 GB of LTE).

Try turning your location settings from high accuracy (GPS, WiFi, and mobile data) to low power (WiFi and mobile data estimate of location) I just tried that a few minutes ago hopefully that helps a lot also change your WiFi and Bluetooth setting those also put a strain on your battery

Personally I'm okay with my stats. Fast charging / wireless charging solve any worry for me.

I use the high location a lot for GPS, weather, and also smart lock. That way it works how I expect.

Whats your usual SOT when you have your location turned on to high acc?

-S7Edge

I've had some other good times but usually anywhere from 3 to 5 hours of usage a normal usage cycle.

I am pretty heavy on phones usually. I used to do 100+ GB a month on LTE but lately it's been around 30-50.

Final before charging this morning.

I was having real good battery use. Like over a day on a single charge. Yesterday I noticed my battery draining pretty quick. I checked my usage and android system is pretty high. Anyone have any ideas why it shot up?226.jpg

I am having massive drain from cell standby (48%). By the looks of the screenshots you posted and others no one even has cell standby in their list. Do you have hd voice on? I don't know why this is happening but it is killing my battery.

Yeah I use HD voice / VoLTE. I am on T-Mobile .. are you? If so, do you use WiFi calling?

I am on Verizon. I have wifi calling off. I don't understand why my cell standby is at 48% that is crazy

That is odd. Let me have one of our Verizon guys on the team come in and see if he is getting that on his S7 Edge.

I'd appreciate it, I have posted elsewhere and haven't received any feedback yet so I thank you for helping out

This is what I am seeing on Verizon.

Cell standby 48% seems high, unless you were idling most of the time

Tell me about it, it's ridiculous. See below

Hm.. I wonder if you're seeing it since you're on wifi. dpham doesn't go on wifi much so that may be why he isn't seeing it.

But I always have been on wifi with my android phones and haven't seen this issue, 46% is not normal

Very wierd. I have the same or very similar set up on my note 5, but the note 5 is at 3 percent android system, while my edge is at 30 ! Percent

My Note 4 was the same way, 5-10%, this phone is usually 25-30%.
