Android Central Question

I have an Android TV box.
When I go to a streaming website...
I can't maximise the video.
When I maximise, the video freezes.
This is the same for ALL websites visited.
Am I doing something wrong? 😕
I have to connect my laptop and plugin a HDMI cable - which defeats the purpose of having the Android TV box!

GRRR!

Anyone else have the same problem?

Welcome to Android Central! Which Android TV box, and what version of Android is it running?

1d later.

We obviously cannot help you if you don't respond.

could be your data (internet) package is not up to par. when it happens to me, it is usually because of slow streaming speeds.

Guys
Thanks for the replies. Just logged in. I posted the question.

I have an M92S Android TV box.
I don't think it's to do with connection or internet speed.
I just can't maximise - when maximised, it doesn't work... stream gets blurred and stops.

I just wanted to check if others had the same problem.

What version of Android is it running? Make sure Android System Webview and Chrome are up to date. If the device is running Nougat through Pie, then Chrome handles the webview duties, and Android System Webview will be disabled -- so just make sure Chrome is up to date. If it already is, then try uninstalling updates to Chrome (or Android System Webview, if the device is running Marshmallow or lower, or Android 10), since updates can sometimes cause glitches on certain devices.
