Android update - 12/27/19

Hi all - Merry Christmas and Happy New Year!

This morning I had a software update for my TMobile S10. When I take pics the "photo/video gallery" now does not update immediately. For instance, a pic I had taken took nearly 20mins to show up in the gallery where previously it was near instantly. In fact, my Google photos updated before the gallery.

A video I took still isn't showing up in my gallery nearly 30mins later but it's already in Google photos.

Any help would be very much appreciated.

Try clearing cache in recovery ,Merry Christmas and Happy New Year!

Oh dude, thanks so much for the quick response! I thought this post didn't go through so I posted the same question on another thread - sincere apologies for the double post.

Anyway, stupid question I know but where would I find recovery?

No problem glad to help out, I'll leave a link to. Recovery mode and just highlight wipe cache press power and then reboot.

So I just tried that, no change. I took a photo just now, my Google photos updated within seconds but gallery still hasn't (5mins later).

Any other suggestions? Again, this started after the Android update. Appreciated.

Can try long press the gallery clear data cache and force stop it see if it helps
