Android update aborted and crash
I have a droid maxx and I have apps that will only run on android 4.3 or below. My phone automatically downloaded kitkat months ago and I jist deffer the update. Well i let a friend use my phone and they accedently hit install instead of deffer. So they powered my phone down during the install. Now my phone gives a boot error and goes into service. When i hit boot normal it boots normal and everything works fine for about a minute but then the phone powers off and reboots trying to update again . It is a vicious loop. I k ow the restore partition is dead and I can probably never restore the phone again. But is there a way to stop android from trying to reinstall the update everytime. 4.2.2 still works fine until it goes back into reboot.
Thanks
