android version

Updates are pushed out by your wireless carrier. Go to Settings, scroll all the way down to System Updates, and select it. Make sure you are connected to a solid wi-fi network or at least a solid 4G/3G network. Your phone will look for updates. Your phone is up to date if there aren't any (again, they are offered by your wireless carrier). At that point the only thing you can do is root your phone and get a build of Android 4.4.4 up and running on it.

I don't recommend doing that though, not unless you really like to tinker with things and are that impatient about getting 4.4.4. Android 5.0 is just around the corner and rumor is that some carriers are just going to wait for that to come out and skip Android 4.4.3 and 4.4.4 all together.

It sounds like your carrier has not released the latest version for your phone.

Right. Like I originally said, updates are pushed out by wireless carriers (the one who provides wireless data and phone service to your phone). Google may have already released Android 4.4.4 but that doesn't mean that your wireless carrier is going to release it for your phone. It's all up to your wireless carrier and you can't force them to update your phone. The ONLY way you can force an update onto your phone is to root it and based on what you have said so far, I don't recommend doing that.

but i heard, 4.4.4 has already released,???
T-Mobile in the US released 4.4.4 so far, not sure who else has. It all depends on what carrier you use, and also what model S5 you have. For example most canadian models are G900W8, so we could only use firmware that was made for our phones.
