So I need a watch with fall detection. My mom has a samsung android phone and I have an Iphone.
She is 82 and wont even consider changing to any apple products. She has a history of falling and has now come to live with me. Her bedroom is on the opposite side of the house and Im worried i may not hear her if she falls in the night. She walks with a cane and will not carry her phone with her to the bathroom as she might become unstable.
I am thinking I could get her a smartwatch with fall detection, however we dont want to spend 300 bucks and add another phone line etc. Money is tight.
Is there a smartwatch that detects falls that is a reasonable price? Like if she fell would it call me? does this work through alexa or something. Im not really tech savvy .
I did try to setup the hey google call daughter voice control on her phone and it works ONLY if the phone is not in sleep mode which I have tried in vain to make it never lock or timeout. I checked the settings and i did everything my searches said to do but it always times out.
