Android Wear 2.0 - Anyone Receive the Update Yet?

Update 4/30:

I was able to get my moto 360 Gen-2 to work for ~ 3-4 days.
-Deleted Android wear from my LG V10
-Re Downloaded AW fresh to phone, installed and tried to set up and pair with watch. (as before with no luck with notifications)
-Factory reset the watch... It will pair and connect over bluetooth, but notifications will not reach the watch.(just as before)
-Leave it in this state for 30~60 minutes, for AW to optimize itself.... I suspect this is a critical step.
-In the Application Manager (on the phone) clear cache and clear data.
-In Android wear (on the phone) turn on all permissions, and Resync apps.
-You may have to clear cache, clear data, Resync apps more than once. I only needed to do it once.

It may take 30-60 minutes for apps to fully propagate from the phone to the watch, but Bluetooth notifications should return in this time.

This just brings back a fully functional AW1.5.xxxxxx with notifications. This does not bring AW 2.0 to the 360.

THIS SOLUTION IS ONLY TEMPORARY. AFTER 3-4 DAYS MY BT NOTIFICATIONS ONCE AGAIN STOPPED REACHING MY WATCH

Jinxed it.. Bummers.

Was at the mall this afternoon, was texting my cousin... and all of a sudden, my notifications stop once again.

So much for that, too good to be true.

From reading all the posts, I'm thinking maybe I don't want the 2.0 update! IF and WHEN it ever comes to my ZenWatch 3, is there any way to NOT get the update? Would that be best, since lots of people are having problems??

for those who havent got 2.0, be thankful. i hate it. i have a fossil q marshall, had to factory reset after update, cuz stock faces didnt work. has connectivity issues every morning (have to reset multiple times) and the new way it displays apps sucks if u dont have a rotating dial. the only thing i like is the keyboard, but u cant use with google Assistant, so is point less when i want to send a WhatsApp or search something when i cant talk ( like in a meeting)

I'm definitely not a fan of the new notification format on my watch but other than that 2.0 on my Q Marshal is fine. No connectivity issues with my Pixel XL. My phone is always nearby so assistant on my watch is disabled as far as voice activation is concerned. For me the point of getting the watch was to recognize when a notification comes in, never to respond to it, at least not in detail. I've never used stock watch faces either, opting instead to create my own using Pujie Black. Based upon the delay in release, the issues being reported and the lack of polish on some of the interface though it seems to still be somewhat of a beta product IMO.

I am thinking the same thing. I did a quick look and the only option I saw was to root it and run a mod.

On my LG Watch Urbane, I no longer see who's calling. I feel it vibrate on a call but screen remains blank while call is ringing on phone. :(

I've retired my Lg Urban until hopefully they iron out some of the bugs/ lack of features which used in android wear.

Might be a good thing that Asus is behind on updating. Hopefully they are spending extra time to make sure there are no bugs instead of rushing out the update (that time has passed anyway). As with Android phones, every manufacturer's update is unique. Us forum readers always see the worst of it, because no one is going to complain that their device is working properly. Once the ZW3 update comes out, you can always wait to see if there are any complaints of problems.

After a few weeks on 2.0, I can say that I like it and am also "tolerating" it. I like what AW 2.0 brings but it is often painfully slow on my LG Watch Urbane. And wpw, it takes forever to chage from 75% to 100%. I know a lot of devices slow down during that time but it is very slow since going to 2.0

For what its worth day 80 and no update for Where 2.0/Wear 2.No and my Huawei watch is working great!

Yeah. I've completely stopped using my Urbane. 2.0 totally ruined it for me. :(

x2 with my moto 360 gen-2. Its totally useless to me since the late March AW update.

I just use it as night stand clock.

Probably should have reserved the Wear 2.0 update for the latest Snapdragon processors. Works ok performance wise on my Fossil Q Marshall watch.

Been waiting impatiently for 2.0 on my ZenWatch 2 but after reading a lot of bad posts like this about upgrades killing watches it's making me think twice or at least makes me want to wait to see how everyone else gets along with it before I commit

I also have ZW2 and I want no part of the update after reading this thread! People either hate it or are neutral about it. Nobody loves it. My watch works great now. I want no part of it.

So is your Huawei watch still stock 1.5, or did you install the 2.0 preview?

If you installed the 2.0 preview, is NFC enabled for Android/Samsung pay?
