I guess testing should go fairly quick on the Huawei Watch considering that it was used to test the developer preview

Everyone is saying that today (Feb 15) is the day. But did anyone get it yet? I've heard no one say they did so far. Please if you did, write it here, just say that you got it, and you can go right back to playing around with it. Just take a second please

I think today is the first day that there is a possibility of it rolling out. Haven't seen a single report of an OTA anywhere.

All these supposed deadlines have come and gone, when all that happened was the supposed date change to a later one. So I'm sure tomorrow morning you'll start seeing "sources" with other dates that will get us counting down to that one all over again

As an LG Watch Urbane owner, I just received the February security updates. I am guessing we'll get it in March to go along with the March Security updates.

I emailed ASUS support to see if I could get an ETA for the update on the ZW3 rollout, and all I got in reply wasa link to their news site.

Yea, I've learned a while ago already not to bother with emailing Asus, I've never gotten a non genetic message response, never once was there a response from a person and sometimes I emailed about something pretty important, but it always got a genetic email response. I CAN'T BELIEVE STILL NO UPDATE!!! DAMN YOU ANDROID!!!!

I have a GWatch R. Just came up with a notification about "Charge the watch to update to M1D65H, Swipe left to install."
Here goes nothing, maybe this is 2.0? Will reply back when it's done (I didn't swipe yet).

Another person posted today online that he has the same LG watch and he got a security update today, but it was not the wear 2.0. So I'm assuming this is what your getting here. But please do post back here either way. Thanks

Well folks, sorry about the false alarm. :(
It was indeed the Feb 1 security update.
I will say I'm a little disappointed (I haven't read any solid information on when the update will roll out...) that it wasn't 2.0, HOWEVER I am glad that it's still getting security updates this late in the game :)

In fairness, I don't recall seeing an "official" announcement on when 2.0 would start rolling out to older devices. The dates I saw (the 8th then the 15th) were just "leaked" dates. So, taken with a grain of salt. That said, I honestly don't want to wait much longer :-p

It's no different to software updates on Android phones. The release dates are GOOGLE dates - they have no exact correlation to anything, other than Google phones. Android has a history of manufacturers taking ages to test software (Samsung are huge, and are notoriously awful at this) so it could be a week, it could be a month, or it could be Summer. It's not right, but this isn't news.

it is different in one important respect. the android phones tied to a carrier were slow with updates, yes, but the android phones that were not tied to a carrier were pretty quick. so my lg watch urbane is not tied to a carrier. doesn't even have mobile radio, just bluetooth and wifi. it shouldn't be that complicated.

That's my point, and thanks for making it for me. Android updates are, regardless of carrier, brand or location, trash. It shouldn't be difficult, I totally agree, but everyone going bananas that it didn't drop on the 15th at 6am is simply being naive.
