Same here. I sent Fossil an email enquiring about updates for Founder q 1Gen. They said the update had started to roll out 'today' (it was the 17th of March...). if is was just an automated answer or if it really started going out on the 17th rather than the 15th it is hard to know.

It's one thing I hate about android is the updates. Amazing having a choice in an eco systems but **** when you have to wait.

Why I have got Nexus (now pixel) devices for the last 4 years. You don't have to wait.......

Well, there is a big difference. When google partnered to make Nexus and Pixel devices there was no (as far as i remember) manufacturer branding

I wouldn't get an LG watch at the moment, not a great track record with updates or support

Still no update on H watch...this reminds me of waiting for my Jelly Bean update many moons ago when I had a Samsung Galaxy phone. I gave up, rooted, and installed Cyanogenmod.
On a positive note, I did get my Pixel XL on Friday! Have to say..Just had it a few days so it is a small sample size but so far the best phone I have had. Now what to do with all my micro USB cords.

I see what you're saying but I'm pretty sure this is as close to a "Pixel" watch as we're gonna see, at least this year. It even had a pre-production xxxfish codename. Pretty positive the updates and support are coming from Google as well and not LG. It's the poster boy for AW 2.0. I bought it through the Google store. Just smells more of Google than LG.

The Nexus 5X has the LG logo on the back. But it was never called the LG Nexus 5X, if that's what you mean.

Nexus 7(2012/2013) had Asus branding on the back.
I'm not sure about other releases of the 7.
