Android Wear 2.0- can you now use same watch with multiple phones?

Does anyone know if AW 2.0 will let you use the same watch with more than one phone without having to reformat the watch every time? I switch between phones a lot and this would be great.

I have been looking to answers on a similar subject, that if the iPhone will allow pairing with more than one watch with Android Wear 2.0. I have not seen a reply to that yet, but I saw replies saying that a watch can only be paired with one phone at a time and that AW 2.0 watch being a bit more independent from the phone may end with the need of multiple pairings.
